​As you can see, even boys can have a rough start to their day. 

Timmy came over a week or so ago and brought doughnuts. This made the boys happy (and even a few girls that live in the house, we won't mention any names but their initials were Mary and Emily).  

It wouldn't be a visit from Timmy if he and Paddy didn't wrestle just a little. Apparently this is the claw. ​

Mary took William and Paddy to the Brandywine River Museum. ​

Paddy seems to be mocking a noble Native American. ​

William seems to be dissing a nice N.C. Wyeth illustration. ​

On President's day, The boys went to Valley Forge Park and celebrated George Washington's birthday by being conscripted into the Continental Army. ​

George even had a cake. ​

They learned how to march. That is Paddy there in the blue hat. ​

Paddy is still enjoying his Karate class on Friday evenings at the YMCA. ​

Paddy got a new look last week! ​

He has an expander that pushes his teeth out. Every morning dad has to crank a little screw in there a half turn. You would think this thing would keep him from talking so much. ​

The other night when dad went to pick up the boys at religious education, William was having a heated argument with Father about whether nor not animals had a soul. 

You would have thought at all those years in the seminary would have helped him win that argument. ​

William made jello so Paddy could eat something. ​Paddy takes it all in stride. When he gets food stuck between the expander and the roof of his mouth he makes a heavy breathing sound to remove it followed by "Luke, I am your father."

Kids today can pick the color of their braces. Paddy picked blue to match his Philadelphia Union Soccer hat. ​

Paddy went to a friends birthday party at the bowling alley in Downingtown. Here he is going for the elusive 300. ​

He didn't take it very well when he got a split. ​

As with any sporting event, people have fun in the parking lot. ​

And we thought we were fans with our blue hatty things. Gee-golly some people just don't know when to stop. ​

At the Son's of Ben, otherwise known as SOB's (yes, Steve and I are card carrying members) they had a punk band playing live. They also had the last living punk fan in Philadelphia there as well! ​

Philly just has the loveliest of ladies to be found anywhere. 

We saw this dude last year. Apparently he has every Union scarf ever made, and he wears them all. ​
